David Shelton, MHS, PT   Hi!  I am David Shelton.  I am a military brat who moved around  the country until I graduated from the University of Florida with a  degree in Physical Therapy in 1979.  I then came to Jacksonville  and have worked as a physical therapist in various settings from  Baptist Medial Center to outpatient physical therapy clinics.  I  have owned and worked at Progressive Step Rehabilitation in  East Arlington since 1993. During this time, I returned to school  and received my Master’s in Health Science from the University  of North Florida.   It has been my pleasure to serve my  community.  On a personal note, I am a tri-athlete and train year  round to do 3-4 events per year.  I look forward to being able to  help you with your physical therapy needs.
Michele Mesiano, PT   Hello, my name is Michele Mesiano.  I am a native of  Jacksonville, FL and have been working as a physical therapist  for 13 years in our community.  My education started at  Sandalwood High School ironically just a couple of miles from  our clinic.  Then I received my first Bachelor’s degree from  Jacksonville University in Dance/Science.  Several injuries to  my ankle started me on the path towards physical therapy.  I  then pursued my second Bachelors at the University of Florida  in Physical Therapy in 1995.  My specialities include  orthopaedics and women’s health.  I have continued to pursue  my development in these areas through advanced courses,  mentorship and membership in our professional  associations. I feel a close connection to this community and I hope you will  allow me to help you recover and restore optimal health and  function to your life.
Suzanne Langenberg, PT   Hello, my name is Suzanne Langenberg.  I received my  undergraduate degree in Microbiology/Dairy Science at the  University of Florida in 1983.  In 1987, I received my Physical  Therapy degree from Florida International University in Miami.  I  have been practicing physical therapy for over 20 years, mostly  in outpatient orthopaedic and sports medicine clinics.  When I’m  not working I enjoy spending time with my family, attending my  children’s soccer and baseball games.  We also enjoy water  sports, tennis, hiking, camping and of course the beach.
Missi Davis   Hi, I am Missi Davis.  I am the Business Manager at  Progressive Step Rehabilitation.  I have been working with  this company for 10 years.  I grew up in this area of  Jacksonville and have lived within this community all of my  life. I too graduated from Sandalwood High School. I received  my Bachelor's in Management and Marketing, with a minor in  Finance, from the University of North Florida.  I work closely  with Sandalwood High School through our Sports Medicine  program to help coordinate the athletic training for the student  athletes at the school.  Living in Florida, of course, my family  loves all water sports.  We frequent the beach, rivers and  springs; on boats, surfboards, tubes, rafts, and whatever else  we can find!  Our family is also very involved in local youth  baseball, football and swimming.
